Founded in 1980, Direct Insurance Brokers has grown into the strong and proactive business that it is today. The original ideals have been adhered to - value for money backed with sound advice. We are founding stakeholders in IBNA Limited, an Australia wide group of around 80 brokers handling substantial premium volumes and with representation in major centres in every state of Australia. IBNA Limited brings major benefits to our clients. This enormous buying power helps in negotiations to secure competitive terms on behalf of our clients and maintains access to Australia's major insurers.

With the enormous changes flowing from Government Legislation, the legal environment and advances in technology, the insurance needs of clients can change rapidly. It is by adapting to, and even anticipating these changes that we continue to offer sound insurance solutions that are assessed against risk.

Our brokerage offers a wide range of general insurance products to all manner of businesses plus specialist services focused on industry sectors and franchise/group schemes.

We operate small, dedicated Sales and Service teams with responsibility for all facets of a client’s insurances – providing real personal service from competent advisors. Ongoing education and training ensures that our staff maintains high standards of professionalism.

Claims are the true test of a Broker’s worth – they really are the litmus test of the commitment to service. We pride ourselves on smoothing the process for fast and fair settlements. Many of our clients are very long standing ones – we tend to keep our clients as long as they need insurance. We have built up long term relationships with many clients and organisations who do not hesitate to recommend clients to us. We have invested heavily in both Staff and Technology to produce an office environment that really delivers service to the business sector. Our local business clients are able to see us on site and we also invite clients to drop into our Lutwyche office if that is more convenient.
